Data Protection Guidelines, LGPD and Research Ethics

We follow rigorous data protection guidelines in compliance with Brazil’s LGPD, as well as ethical principles that ensure transparency, security, and respect for participants across all research methodologies.

Our commitment is to ensure personal data is handled responsibly, securely, and exclusively for the purposes previously disclosed.

Voluntary participation and informed consent

Respondent participation is always voluntary. Before any research begins, participants receive clear, honest, and non-misleading information about the purpose of the study, its estimated duration, and the conditions for participation.

Respondents are fully free to accept or decline the invitation, as well as to stop participating at any time, even if the research has not yet been completed.

Confidentiality and anonymity

Respondent identity is protected throughout the entire process. Personal data may only be shared with the client with the participant’s explicit consent, when applicable.

We prioritize information confidentiality and adopt measures to preserve respondent anonymity whenever possible.

Research with vulnerable audiences

In studies involving children, adolescents, or other vulnerable audiences, we adopt additional safeguards, including obtaining consent from parents or legal guardians when necessary.

Contacts and pre-existing lists

In online projects that use contact lists, we ensure individuals have a reasonable prior expectation that they may be contacted to participate in research and receive a link to access the study.

Participant compensation or incentives

When compensation or an incentive is offered for the time dedicated to the research, the amount and payment conditions are disclosed to the respondent in advance.

Participants are also informed that payment is conditional on full completion of the research and compliance with the quality criteria established for each project.

Restricted use of data

Data collected in market research is used exclusively for research, analysis, and insight generation.

Under no circumstances is this information used for sales actions, commercial prospecting, or direct marketing.

Participant rights

We guarantee participants the right to request access, correction, blocking, or deletion of their personal data, as provided by applicable legislation.

Responsibility for data processing

The project manager is responsible for the proper handling of personal data in each study, regardless of the methodology, platform, or technology used.

Lists containing respondents’ personal data, when received from the client, are accessed only by the project manager and the recruiters directly involved in that specific project.
